providing musical entertainment ... Scott
is a Senior Soluions Capability Consultant at
CDW. Scott is responsible for the LearnCenter (Learning Management System) strategy and the design of elearning tools for Account Managers, Account Executives, and the S3 organization. Scott is an experienced instructional designer with expertise designing, developing, and managing web based rich media content, including video production. He is an early-adopter of multimedia technologies and enjoys seeing how new media can be used in the field of adult learning. He is formally trained as an educator with his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a graduate degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Instructional Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to his role as an Organizational Capabilities Advisor, he was a Learning Consultant for the Hosting & Managed Services practice, creating end user support documentation, elearning modules, classroom training and other media still in use today to support the business. He started at CDW (legacy Berbee) in 2001 as a Service Account Manager. Scott also holds a Master of Science degree in Curriculum & Instruction from
the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as Bachelors of Science degree
in Elementary Education 1-9 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Scott
also maintains his Wisconsin DPI Teaching License for Elementary/Middle Grades 1-9.
While an undergrad at UW Madison, Scott played euphonium (baritone) for five years in the
UW Marching Band and marched all around the country and world. Notably, on top
of the U.S.S. Nimitz Aircraft carrier in Seattle; in Tokyo, Japan for the Coca
Cola Bowl,
and finally the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. On weekends, Scott
provides musical entertainment for weddings and receptions throughout the state
of Wisconsin for over 20 years.
